Eric D. Gordon, M.D.

Dr. Gordon is presently in private practice in Family & Alternative Medicine at Gordon Medical Associates in San Rosa, CA. Previously, he was in private practice in Family & Alternative Medicine at Heart to Heart Medical Center, and at the Santa Rosa Medical Group. Prior to that, he was in private practice in Family Medicine at both Turning Point, and Mountain View Medical Associates, Cambridge, NY.; and at Greenwich Family Practice, Greenwich, NY.

His earlier medical experience was as an Emergency Room and Staff Physician in Troy, Cambridge and Wilton, NY.

His appointments include Associate Medical Director at the Shealy Institute, Springfield, MO; Medical Director at Hospice of Washington County, Mary McClellan Hospital, Cambridge, NY; and for the Saratoga County Association for Retarded Citizens, Saratoga Springs, NY. He was also Medical Staff President, Medical Staff Vice President, and Chief of Family Practice at Mary McClellan Hospital.

Prior to that he was Medical Director and Associate Medical Director for Camry Statewide Services, Group Homes For Autistic Adults with Behavior Problems, in Albany, NY.

Dr. Gordon received his B.A. in chemistry at Queens College of CUNY, Queens, NY. He received his medical degree at Albany Medical College, Albany, NY. His did his residency in Family Practice at St. Clare’s Hospital, Schenectady, NY . He underwent specialty training in Osteopathic Manipulation at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, NY.

Licenses and certifications include: Recertification, American Board of Family Practice; California State Medical Licensure; Missouri State Medical Licensure; Certificate in Osteopathic Manipulation; Certificate of Qualification in Geriatrics (AAFP/ASIM); Recertification, American Board of Family Practice; Board Certified, American Board of Family Practice; and New York State Medical Licensure.

He is active in Orthomolecular Health Medicine, and has published An Introduction to Complementary Nutritional Concepts in the Bulletin of the Green County Medical Society
