Tricia Butner, ARNP

Tricia Butner, ARNP is a family nurse practitioner who has been in private practice for the past 25 years.

She is co-owner of Seminole Medical Clinic, a new 10,000 sq. ft. facility in Seminole, Oklahoma. She has a full-time family practice that offers an integrative, holistic approach to healthcare, with special emphasis in women’s health and bio-identical hormone therapy, and treatment of chronic illness and autoimmune disease. She is also co-owner of A to Z Vitamin Shoppe, a retail nutrition and health food store.

Ms. Butner received her Nurse Practitioner/Masters Degree in 1981 from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She serves as clinical instructor and preceptor for the University of Oklahoma and other graduate colleges in surrounding states. Tricia was instrumental in lobbying for the passage of prescriptive authority legislation for nurse practitioners in Oklahoma.

She has been actively involved in the Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner’s association since its inception in 1993, serving two terms as president and in other capacities on the governing board.

She planned and organized the first pharmacology continuing education conference for nurse practitioners in Oklahoma, and has continued to be involved in annual conference planning for the past thirteen years.

She received the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners’ State Award for Excellence for the many outstanding contributions to her profession.
